chapter 11 assessment

I personally enjoy the talking book. although  this is consider a traditional audio i believe it is a classic. i say that because as a child and even now I enjoy reading along with the talking book because Reading is not one of my strong points. With that being said the talking book helps me to pronounce words that i don't no.  In my opinion this is something that should still be used in all classes no matter what grade. This should be used to help students improve their reading skills and build a strong vocabulary. I also like the overhead projectors. I enjoy these because it less creation when taking notes. Not all students a good note taking and notes can come in handy for test an exams. i think that the over head allows all students to have proper notes so that they are all given fair opportunity at success on the test. As far as emerging technology goes i enjoy the document camera because it is a advanced overhead. the document camera does everything that the overhead can do and so much more it captures photos and videos and it can even be connected to the computer. This could be used to allow teachers to show students things without everyone needing their own computer and it can also allow students to present project to their fellow students. I also like YouTube as well as many other people. as the book stated it can be used so teachers can upload video study guide can add significantly to learning experiences by helping to build connections to prior knowledge focusing attention and reinforcing learning. And that is just one of the reason i LOVE YouTube .

chapter 6 assessment

I think that  technology in the classroom can be a great thing for many reasons. technology in the classrooms allow teachers and students to communicate , as well as parents and teachers. As stated in the  book chapter 6 page 162 administrators software programs support almost every area of classroom administration, from helping you track the average students grades to helping you create class newsletters and lesson specific crossword puzzles. Although technology in the classroom can be a great thing in many ways it can also be a bad thing. Due to the fact that at Saint Mary's school and probably many others there can be many distraction: email, blogging,nonacademic Internet surfing, YouTube and even Facebook. Over all I would say technology in the class room is a wonderful thing to have.

the snickers commercial

I really enjoyed that commercial. I think that is a commercial that we can all relate. Which for me is what made it funny. In the commercial it basically was saying that your not your self when your hungry. When the typical person is hungry they tend to have a attitude because their going through a with drawl of food. Which can be very funny if your not the person who hungry. Another reason why I like this commercial is better the people in it were average looking, working everyday people. I've always liked these types of commercials best because it is reality.
